In this instance, we are on the lookout for a/an Project QA/QC Cordinator Electrical and Instrumentation (Site) will be responsible for coordinating and supervising QA/QC activities related to electrical and instrumentation systems on-site. This professional will ensure that installation, testing, and commissioning comply with project specifications, international standards, and applicable regulations, guaranteeing the proper integration and functionality of the systems.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee QA/QC activities related to instrumentation on-site, ensuring compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct quality inspections of the installation, calibration, and connection of field instruments, control systems, and cables.
• Review and approve technical procedures, including those related to the calibration, installation, and testing of instruments.
• Ensure traceability of instruments, materials, and equipment used, maintaining detailed records.
• Coordinate functional tests, control loop checks, and signal verification between instruments and control systems (DCS/PLC).
• Manage and report non-conformities, implementing corrective actions together with contractors.
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as IEC, ISA, and project-specific regulations.
• Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams to ensure proper integration of instrumentation systems.
• Prepare daily/weekly quality and progress reports, keeping project management and the client informed.
• Supervise activities to ensure they comply with the project’s safety and environmental standards.

Requirements:

Education:

• Degree in Electronics, Automation, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in QA/QC for instrumentation in industrial projects, preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Hydrogen.
• Proven experience in the installation and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.

Certifications:

• Knowledge of international standards such as IEC 61511, ISA 84, and ANSI/ISA.
• QA/QC certification (desirable).
• Familiarity with calibration tools and associated software (e.g., HART, AMS).

Languages:

• Fluent English (mandatory, spoken and written). Portuguese is a plus.
